It gives us great pleasure to invite you to “CLEVELAND CLINIC ADVANCED CERTIFICATE COURSE IN DIABETES 2016 (CCACCD 2016)”, to be held on 20-21 August, 2016 at Pullman and Novotel Hotel, New Delhi Aerocity. The course is being organized by Dr. Makkar’s Diabetes and Obesity Centre, New Delhi, in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, U.S.A.

Diabetes and Obesity Centre has been actively involved with diabetes and obesity education programs for more than a decade. Cleveland Clinic is one of the world's largest and highly acknowledged centre of excellence for providing diabetes care in the United States. Partnering with Cleveland Clinic for this program is certainly a matter of pride and endorses our efforts in the field of diabetes and obesity education.

Diabetes education programs in collaboration with Cleveland Clinic have been a regular feature for the last six years and this is going to be our seventh collaborative program. It is indeed a matter of great satisfaction that all the previous programs have been very well attended and highly appreciated as being very practical and relevant to clinical practice. CCACCD 2015 was attended by more than 1000 physicians, diabetes specialists and endocrinologists from across the country.

“ADVANCED CERTIFICATE COURSE IN DIABETES” will be a novel program focusing on recent developments in understanding of diabetes and their clinical implications. Debates, real-life case study templates and workshops to create ample opportunites to discuss the application of current concepts in diabetes management to clinical practice. The course aims at enhancing knowledge and clinical skills of the participating physicians, thereby empowering them to deliver world-class diabetes care. All the participants will also be getting a certificate of participation from Cleveland Clinic, Ohio.
